2. WAX CARVING

Price: $230 (Excludes casting silver material cost, which is charged based on the weight of the wax carved)
Duration: Two sessions

• Session 1: 3-hour wax carving class

• Session 2: 1-hour metalsmithing finishing class

Explore the art of jewelry making through wax carving and metalsmithing in this two-part workshop.

• Session 1: Wax Carving (3 hours)
  Learn essential wax carving techniques, including carving, building up wax, and polishing. This session focuses on shaping your unique design in wax, preparing it for casting. The cost of the silver used for casting will be calculated based on the weight of your wax model.

• Session 2: Metalsmithing Finishing (1 hour)
  Once your piece has been cast in silver, you will refine and complete it using basic metalworking techniques such as cutting joints, texturing, and polishing.
